Installation:
1. start SP Flash tool
2. load scatter file
3. chek recovery box and press download
4. turn off phone and connect the phone with the PC (download and install take a few seconds)
5. disconnect the phone
6. hold power + vol up (if you see the ele logo let go the power button)

Root:
1. supersu download
2. boot into the new recovery and flash update.zip
3. reboot and check with root checker

I don't think you should try this, the two phones do not have the same resolution, so the recovery will not work on the lite, you will probably have problems.

Think not because the scatter file is from 4gb version.
You can use Mtk_Droid_Tool_v2.5.3 to create a scatter file for the lite.
Have'nt tried it until yet because Norton deleted the exe during unpack (Sometimes i hate Norton).
Disable Norton is not what i really want cause the tool need internet connection.
However. I have to wait until the weekend to get my backup laptop mit a special windows partition back.

JJ tried the vowney on my lite version but this did not work: - /
I also have to temporarily switch off when downloading exe avast

Root for Vowney Lite is available. - Works for all Vowney versions.
Kingroot and voila... root works....
Posted them yesterday and a few minutes ago my apk received a update via Google play.
Still no recovery but this should be no problem now.

Does it really work for Vowney (the NOT-Lite Vowney) ? 'cause i couldn't find TWRP to work for Big-Vowney until now...
