Mumbai rains have brought city to standstill but deluge of jokes is making it bearable

Just like every year, Mumbai rains have taken over the city. The roads are flooded with water, traffic is moving at a speed unimaginably slow and train routes have been disrupted. Parts of central and south Mumbai are practically under water while objects can be seen floating. And according to the IMD, the situation is not likely to change for the next 48 hours.

Mumbai police is constantly tweeting details about the traffic and waterlogged areas. The most affected areas are Parel TT – King Circle Junction Matunga – Mukhyadhyapak Bhavan, Sion – Kurla Kamani. People also took to Twitter to share traffic updates and pictures of flooded areas and believe it or no, bikes and scooters are half emerged in water.

Flights have been delayed, some trains have reportedly been suspended and there’s no way autos can even try moving.
