Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi is quite a hit with the viewers. And why shouldn't it be? Good romance, a tight script, capable actors. It has everything going for it. Wait, let me rephrase, it HAD everything going for it until the godforsaken leap happened. And after that everything basically turned to sh*t.

Confused characters=a dud show

The writers of the show just don't know what to do with their characters anymore. After the leap, Dev and Sonakshi were seen locking horns with each other as they had separated before the leap. They were business rivals who couldn't stand the sight of each other. But now, they are falling for each other again. Apparently, they have come to terms with their past, but not completely, you see, because for now they have safely friendzoned each other. But then there are these moments in the show, silly moments, when Dev and Sonakshi are seen fantasizing about each other.

So my question is, when will this mess stop so that we can get some clarity about their relationship?

Soha

Soha, Dev and Sonakshi's kid is trying her best to play the cupid. Clearly, the makers have seen Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Sleepless in Seattle too many times. But what might have worked for the aforementioned movies is not at all working for the show. Soha is a cute kid whose charm fails to work because the writers don't know what to do with her, except make her say lines that very unlike a child.

What a drag

Post the leap, the show has lost its charm. The romance is forced, the characters have nothing new to offer, and even the background score sounds like a lot of noise.

Bottom line: Anything that might have worked in the past, doesn't work anymore. So makers, please quit, before you are forced to pull the plug on the show.
