Carrie Underwood showed her entire face in a photo for the first time since suffering a serious injury last November that required at least 40 stitches.

The new picture, which Underwood shared Friday on Twitter, features the country music star singing into a microphone during rehearsals with her band.

“Missed these guys,” Underwood captioned the photo.

There are no visible marks on her face in the photo, which was posted two days after a different photo only showed the right side of her face.

Underwood initially informed fans in November that he she had broken her wrist after falling on steps at her Nashville home, but she didn’t mention the facial injury until a blog post in January.

“I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told (her husband Mike Fisher) that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in,” Underwood wrote.

She noted at the time that she wasn’t sure how things “will end up” following the injury, and wrote that while she was healing, she was “not quite looking the same.”

Underwood posted an Instagram photo of her face obscured by a scarf last December, shortly before she opened up about the November accident.

The singer has not performed live since the accident, and is currently slated to return to the stage at the CMA Music Festival in June.
