A Brooklyn math teacher accused of molesting one of his students sent lewd photographs to the 14-year-old victim’s cell phone, prosecutors said Thursday.

Those pictures startled the boy’s mom, and led cops to uncover a month worth of sexual abuse between the teacher and his eighth-grade student, prosecutors said.

Andre Braddy, 34, had three encounters with the student inside a classroom at Public School 235 on Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie since March 19, according to a criminal complaint.

After the victim’s mom contacted police, they set up a controlled phone call between the teacher and the boy.

During the conversation, Braddy apologized for taking the boy’s virginity and asked if he liked the photos, prosecutors said.

Braddy’s lawyer, Andrew Stoll, called the allegations “disturbing,” but referred to Braddy’s career in education as a “remarkable success story.”

“His father’s been in and out of jail. He attended CUNY where he received a full scholarship,” Stoll said. “He works seven days a week. On Sundays he teaches math and calculus at Medgar Evers College.”

Stoll said Braddy lives with his mom and his “severely disabled, autistic sister, who he takes care of.”

Braddy is charged with criminal sexual act, sexual misconduct and child endangerment. He was ordered held on $75,000 bond or $25,000 cash bail, placed in protective custody and on suicide watch after his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.
