UPDATE ONE: EA Severs are now being reported as being back online for many gamers tonight, although there are still reports of issues connecting to certain online services for small groups of fans.

This included Origin services, which the company have now confirmed as being back in working order.

"The login issues affecting Origin have now been resolved. Thank you for your patience, if you still require assistance please let us know."

Top titles such as FIFA 18, Battlefield 1 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 were reported as being affected for some hours.

ORIGINAL STORY - EA - or Electronic Arts - seems to be suffering from outages across all its games and several platforms, thanks to severe server errors.

Games affected include FIFA 18, Battlefield 1, MADDEN 18, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and more.

Not to mention the Origin Access PC platform as well.

According to independent outage report site, DownDetector, people from all around the world are struggling to get a connection to EA's online services.

At the time of writing, the site shows a masive spike of over 3000 reports just with EA services, but there are plenty more reports for the various games and services.

This means that no matter what game you're playing - Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield 1, FIFA 18 or more - you can't connect and play.

This also means no matter what platform you're playing on (PC, PS4, Xbox One), you'll have trouble connecting.

The company's official support Twitter channel has responded, but only relating to Origin players, writing:

"We are aware of Origin login issues affecting some players and are currently investigating. Thank you."

There have also been huge spikes in reports for PSN services, but PlayStation's own network server status page has uploaded a message that reads:

"PlayStation™Network services are up and running, but there are external, internet-wide issues that may affect your experience.

"Once these external issues are resolved, you should have no problem connecting to PlayStation™Network."
