I, with the instructions provided by PhoenixNitro managed to Royal Ring up my entrance bars.

I'm going to ask him if he'd let me type up a tutorial for everyone else since he said he's not great at explaining these sorts of things, but since it was his discovery, I don't want to steal his thunder.

Nitro gave me the go ahead...so here's a tutorial...

TOOLS REQUIRED:
- Any image editing program capable of editing PNG files. I do believe GIMP is free and has this functionality, Photoshop does as well (plus some) if you want to go the paid route. I use photoshop myself, because I got it on a huge student discount.

- Unity Asset Bundle Extractor: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?22675-Unity-Assets-Bundle-Extractor
It was created for another Unity game I do modding for, 7 Days to Die, but works here too. You should use version 2.1, I haven't grabbed any of the bugfixes, but that's because I'm lazy...so feel free to grab them as well. This is used for the actual extraction and importing.

- Unity Studio: https://github.com/RaduMC/UnityStudio/releases - This can be used to preview texture files and find what you are looking for, it doesn't do a good job exporting or importing though.

STEPS:
1) Using unity studio, load up an asset bundle and search the texture2d files for the texture that you're looking for. I do not have a list of which textures are in which files, nor do I even have much of hint that could point you in the right direction. I do know that the nameplates are in sharedassets9.assets.

2) Once you have found your textures, load up UABE and load the same asset file. Find the texture you wish to extract and select it in the list.

3) Press the Plugins button and there should be an option to export to .PNG and give it a name.

4) Without closing UABE, open that PNG file in your image editor and make your changes...or delete the entire thing and use the dimensions for your new image...save your changes.

5) Go back to UABE and select the texture your trying to replace again, hit the plugins button again, and select edit.

6) In the edit menu, down at the bottom, there's a button that says "Load". Click it and change the file type to .PNG files. Now select the file you created or edited.

7) Go to the File menu and hit save. UABE doesn't usually let you overwrite the original file...so you'll have to save it someplace else first, I suggest your desktop.

8) Move the saved .asset file into your \steamapps\common\Fire Prowrestling World\FireProWrestlingW_Data\ folder, overwriting the original file.

9) Load the game and your new texture should be there.

There is an updated version/fork of Unity Studio that works a bit better with the Fire Pro World data files: https://github.com/Perfare/UnityStudio

Thanks for writing this up!

Yes, among other things.

Does this impact sprites, in theory? Like could we add choices or at least alter the default logo, stars, etc.?

If you could find them, it's a possibility.
Interesting, would it be possible to mod the texture of the ring mats or entrance walkway?

Again it's a possibilty if you can locate them.
