Tunisia: Democratic Alliance Calls for Forming Independent Technocratic Government

Carthage — Secretary-General of the Democratic Alliance Mohamed Hamdi said on Thursday his party calls for the resignation of the current government and the formation of an independent technocratic government that would ensure the transition process and hold the next elections.

At the end of his meeting with Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki in Carthage, Hamdi said that the Democratic Alliance also suggests the creation of an "Authority for Political Support" composed of parties and organisations.
