An unexploded air missile fired by the Tajik side from a helicopter was found in the house of a resident of the Ortoboz village located on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the public relations and media department of the Border Service of the country reported.

Today, an aircraft missile was discovered in Ortoboz village, that hit the house of a resident of the village on April 29, 2021 during an air attack by Tajik servicemen on a Mi-24 helicopter. The family living in the house was not injured, as the air missile did not explode, the report said.

Currently, an investigation team is working on the spot.

The border conflict has started on April 28, when a verbal conflict between the local residents of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan gradually escalated into an armed clash between the military personnel of both countries. On April 29, the conflict between local residents escalated into armed hostilities.

On May 1, the sides agreed to cease fire and withdraw forces to their permanent deployment locations. According to the latest reports, 34 Kyrgyz people died and 178 injured as a result of clashes.
