It's official! Mani Ratnam's next to star Jyothika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil
Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam's forthcoming film will roll from January 2018.
After much speculations, Mani Ratnam has finalised the cast and crew of his forthcoming yet-untitled venture. To be produced by Madras Talkies on a large scale, the film stars Simbu, Jyothika, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swami and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.

The surprise announcement from Madras Talkies has created quite a stir on social media and fans are madly waiting for the release. Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman will compose the music of the film and veteran cinematographer Santosh Sivan is reuniting with Ratnam after Raavanan.
Aayutha Ezhuthu was the last Mani Ratnam film that had a terrific cast. According to the press release, the team will begin shooting for the film in January 2018 and is expected to release in summer.
Earlier this year, Ratnam's romantic drama Kaatru Veliyidai opened to mixed response from the critics. The film starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari became a box-office dud.
