Coat of Arms (Eagle of Saladin)

The Coat of Arms of Egypt, also called the Eagle of Saladin, is a golden eagle. The head is turned towards the eagle’s right, or viewer’s left. On the bottom of the symbol is an Arabic scroll that translates into english as “Arab Republic of Egypt.” On it’s breast, the eagle bears a shield with the country’s red, white, and black colors, in a vertical configuration.
