Reminder: 'All Access: Ronda Rousey' debuts tonight on Showtime

As a reminder, the debut episode of “All Access: Ronda Rousey” debuts tonight on Showtime.

The half-hour special provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion ahead of her Aug. 18 title fight with former titleholder Sarah Kaufman.

Tonight’s episode airs at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. The second airs Aug. 15 in the same time slot.

Rousey (5-0 MMA, 3-0 SF) looks to defend her title for the first time since winning it from Miesha Tate in March when she meets Sarah Kaufman (15-1 MMA, 6-1 SF) at “Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman” at Valley VIew Casino Center in San Diego. It’s Rousey’s second straight main-event fight for Showtime.

Showtime cameras have followed Rousey, an Olympic bronze-medal judoka, in and out of the cage, and the above preview clip focuses on her photo shoot for “ESPN The Magazine’s” Body Issue, which recently hit newsstands. Rousey was one of six athletes chosen for commemorative covers.

According to Showtime, “All Access: Ronda Rousey” also will look back at the women’s MMA history with interviews with Gina Carano, Cristiano “Cyborg” Santos and other influential women in the sport.

Replays of “All Access” air on Showtime, Showtime Extreme and Showtime On Demand throughout the week.
