One word about the press tornado that is happening right now around us, concerning the alleged "first photo on the web". If you read well our website, it says that it was, to our knowledge, the "first photo of a band". Dozens of media are totally distorting our words for the sake of cheap sensationalism. Nobody knows which was the first photo on the web. But our photo was one of those that changed the web, from a platform for physics documentation, to a media for our lives. It was the portal that opened the Web to music and arts, and to anything fun!

We never said that Tim Berners-Lee was a cross-dresser. This is pure nonsense. Colette met Tim when acting with him in a Christmas pantomime, a play for children like Alice in Wonderland, where Tim was acting as "The Dame". For those who are familiar with British panto, female roles are often played by men because the children find that funny. Vice versa, the princes and knights are often played by girls as they look fairer to the young.
There is absolutely no sexual or fancy meaning in what we said to the press. Tim was just acting on stage in a costume, like we all do, once a year, to amuse our children. That's all.

Those papers and websites who use this altering its meaning and talking about cross-dressing and transvestite attitudes are just bad press. We ask our beloved fans to please ignore these sites and boycott them.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee still is a good friend of ours, and he's a great guy, who spent his life creating this incredible communication platform called the World Wide Web, without which we could no longer imagine our lives. And he didn't do it for money, but to give it to the World for free, so we can better communicate and interact. He really does not deserve to be trashed by the press like that.
