US economy out of recession

Economic data for the third quarter in the US has confirmed it has pulled itself out of the worst recession for 70 years.

The US economy grew 0.9% from July to September - its fastest rate for more than two years.

Despite the good news, it will be a long time before the unemployment rate falls significantly.
