Ali Boumnijel: Suspect on crosses, but was not tested enough by the Moroccan attack. Did enough without doing anything.

Karim Hagui: Along with the rest of the Tunisian defence, the youngest member of the squad was solid. Marshalled Hadji very well.

Radhi Jaidi: Quick no-nonsense defending. However, he was at fault for Morroco's goal when he stumbled over.

Hatem Trabelsi: Good comeback after injury. Covered the entire piitch and did not give the likes of Hadji, Chammakh and co more than a second on the ball.

Clayton: Showed his impressive Brazilian touch with an early volley. Provided the assist for the second goal and never tired.

Mehdi Nafti: Looked lively throughout the match. Great cross for the first goal.

Slim Benachour: Was not as influential as he probably wanted to be. A poor end to a relatively unremarkable tournament for the Paris Saint Germain player.

Riadh Bouazizi: One of the player's of the tournament and certainly a strong contender for man-of-the-match. Never stopped running.

Adel Chedli: Guilty of missing a relatively simple chance with the scores at 1-0. Apart from that had a good game.

Ziad Jaziri: Played second fiddle to Dos Santos during the tournament and did so again today, until he pounced for the all-important winner. The striker will be remembered for his goal not performance.

Francileudo dos Santos: Produced the goods when it mattered. Climbed well for a relatively small player to head in opener. Worked tirelessly and was a thorn in the side of Morocco.

Substitutes:

Jawhar Mnari (replaced Mehdi Nefti) Looked lively when he came on to replace the injured Nefti. Refrained from his normal attacking instincts to play a more defensive role.

Kais Ghodhbane (replaced Slim Benachour) Benachour proved a bit of a liability at times in midfield. Played his defensive midfield role to a tee.

Imed Mhadhebi (replaced Ziad Jaziri) Fresh legs added to the attack. Almost scored after he attempted chip Fouhami six minutes from time.

Morocco

Khalid Fouhami: What a crying shame that arguably the best goalkeeper in the tournament produced an 'Oliver Kahn' moment when it mattered the most. Fumbled Clayton's cross when it was easier to hold on to the ball.

Akram Roumani: Not given any room to push forward. Found the going tough.

Abdeslam Ouaddou:Looked solid at the back. Did not have to make any last-ditch tackles but was kept occupied by the busy Dos Santos.

Talal El Karkouri: Brave performance with the strapping on his hamstring. Did well to marshall the troops at the back but his efforts were not rewarded.

Noureddine Naybet: Quiet game for the experienced star. Should have led by example and helped the younger players of the team.

Walid Regragui: Like Naybet, was not much of an influence on the pitch. Appeared to be just making up the numbers in a talented Morocoo side.

Abdelkrim Kissi: Battled hard in midfield and linked well with the young Lions, Hadji, Mokhtari and Chammakh. A class act.

Youssef Safri: Replaced midway through the second-half. His more defensive midfield play was not helpful to a side looking to find a winner.

Youssef Hadji: Well shackled until he was allowed to get away from his marker and deliver a pinpoint cross for Mokhtari's goal.

Marouane Chammakh: Burst into life late in the first-half when he forced Boumnijel to punch away his stinging shot. The 20-year-old looked weary as the game went on.

Youssef Mokhtari: A star in the making? Playing in the German second-division, but probably won't be for much longer. A great header from Hadji's cross saw him join the top scorers at the African Cup of Nations.

Substitutes:

Jaouad Zairi (replaced Akram Roumani) Was unlucky not to start the match. Not given enough time to prove his worth but did provide a spark to a flagging attack in the latter stages of the second-half.

Mohammed El Yaagoubi (replaced Youssef Safri) Replaced the ineffective Youssef Safri. However, was fairly ineffective himself.
