Summary A young urban couple from New York escape the city for a romantic weekend in the Catskills. On the way they pick up a hitchhiker and invite him back to their cottage. As the evening progresses, the two men clash over their differing lifestyles. The next day, after hiking to Kaaterskill Peak, tensions between the two men reaches a boiling point and decends into a lesson on the extremes people will go to when pushed to the edge
