The Regents of the University of Michigan

The University is governed by the Board of Regents, which consists of eight members elected at large in biennial state-wide elections.

The Presidential Search Committee will work with Regents and an executive search firm to identify and review candidates and make recommendations for the full Board of Regents' consideration.
Northern Michigan Visit
The next Regents meeting takes place in St. Ignace, Michigan on July 21. It is part of a northern Michigan visit strengthening the ties that bind the university to all corners of the Great Lakes state.
