Phone Services (VoIP) - Maintenance Apr 24, 2024 20:00 - Apr 25, 2024 04:00 EDT
Phone Services (VoIP) has maintenance scheduled. No active calls will be impacted during the maintenance but phones will restart (possibly more than once). Some callers trying to dial at the exact moment of a system restart may receive a busy tone, but should have no problem connecting by redialing. Call Center agents will also be logged out and will need to log back in approximately 3 times during the maintenance window.

Scheduled - As part of a long-planned upgrade to SAP, Duke’s enterprise administrative and business platform, the system will be offline from 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11 – Sunday, April 14. During this time, there will be no access to functional systems and data until the new S4 version of SAP goes live by Monday, April 15.
The downtime will include access to the following functional systems:

•SAP R/3
•Duke@Work portal
•Buy@Duke
•SAP BW - Business Warehouse
•SBP – University Budget System

The Administrative Systems team has been working closely with operating units to assess impacts and develop contingency plans. Special arrangements have been made to address unique needs, such as access to recent W-2 forms for tax filing and continuity of supply chain needs during this time.
Individual users should also plan to access information and process iForms and other transactions before or after the planned downtime to avoid issues regarding access from April 12-14.

Some agents could lose connection to Finesse and will be failed over automatically, or have to log back in to finesse if they receive a CTI Failure. Some Jabber Chat Rooms be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance. Users of the Jabber Chat Rooms that are unavailable can utilize Ad hoc Chat Rooms as a workaround for the duration of the maintenance window.
