On July 24, Homer Simpson will appear with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show to promote The Simpsons Movie, in theaters everywhere July 27.
NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” will welcome animated father and donut lover Homer Simpson on Tuesday, July 24. This marks Simpson’s one and exclusive publicity appearance to promote the highly anticipated film, “The Simpsons Movie.”
When asked about what he would be doing during his “Tonight Show” debut Simpson announced, “I understand I’m doing a monologue, I hope it doesn’t involve talking.”
It takes a wide screen to fully capture Homer’s stupidity, and “The Simpsons Movie” does it. In the film, opening everywhere July 27, Homer must save the world from a catastrophe he himself created.
Due to scheduling restrictions, the first time film star will be restricted to making a brief appearance during the show’s monologue.
