What is infoShip

infoShip, from The VALIS Group, gives design professionals the power to transform static page layouts into dynamic multimedia publications! infoShip users literally drag-and-drop audio, video, graphics, animation, and even executable programs into a "virtual book."

Targetted to those without programming skills, infoShip helps graphic designers and communications professionals create and bind entire publications for distribution on CD-ROM or via the Internet! infoShip publications have the familiar look and feel of a book or magazine, and are viewed on either Windows or Macintosh platforms. Distinctive 3D page turns offer visible and audible reinforcement to the book metaphor. But these publications easily transcend the book, by combining the depth of print with the impact of video.

Electronic magazines, product catalogs, training materials, and other works are easily browsed a page at a time, or section-by-section. Individual pages can be annotated or bookmarked for future reference. Articles can be printed, or copied to the clipboard for use in another application. For passive viewing, entire multimedia storybooks can be read-aloud without a single keystroke.
