Atlanta, GA, April 26, 1996 - MindSpring Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:MSPG) announces today that its Board of Directors has elected Mike McQuary President and Chief Operating Officer.
Charles Brewer, who founded the company in February 1994, and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since its inception was elected Chairman. He will continue as CEO.

Mike McQuary had been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since September 1995 and was the companyâs Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing from July 1995 to September 1995. He has also served as a Director of the company since December 1995. Prior to joining MindSpring, McQuary served in a variety of management positions at Mobil Chemical Co.
