InfiNet was established by Norfolk, VA based Landmark Communications Inc. in 1994 to help bring its various media interests online. Knight-Ridder became a partner in June 1995, and Gannett in February 1996. Our mission is to provide high-quality Internet access and to help businesses, governments and others in creating online communities.
InfiNet ranks highly among the top 10 Internet providers in the nation, according to registered users of the c|net Web site. c|net, which covers computer topics in its online site and on cable TV shows, did a comparison study of top national and regional providers, and then asked its members to rank providers on such criteria as reliability, technical support and price.
