mich.com, Inc. provides a wide range of services, ranging from dialup PPP accounts to dedicated connections.
To obtain information about a specific service plan, select it from the menu below. When you are ready to apply for an account, select the option titled "Sign Me Up!"

Personal Dialup Accounts provide you with up to 80 hours a month of dialup shell and PPP access at speeds up to 33.6 Kbps. Additional time is billed against your account at just $0.01 per minute.
A personal web page is included free with your account. Up to 5,000 hits per month are allowed; additional web page hits are billed against your account at $0.01 per hit.
Also Included with your account is up to 5 MB of disk storage space for storage of files and/or a personal web page. Additional space is billed against your account at $1/MB/month (based on your average day-to-day disk usage for the month). Also included with the account is one email address.
Personal Dialup accounts are available at either a montly rate of $19.95 per month or an annual rate of $12.95 per month ($155.40 per year). Both options require a one-time $40 account activation fee.
Personal ISDN Dialup Accounts provide you with up to 80 hours a month of PPP access at 64 Kbps or 128 Kbps. Additional time is billed against your account at just $0.02 per minute.
A personal web page is included free with your account. Up to 5,000 hits per month are allowed; additional web page hits are billed against your account at $0.01 per hit.

Personal ISDN Dialup accounts are available at both monthly and annual rates. A 64 Kbps account is just $49.95 per month at the monthly rate or $39.95 per month at the annual rate ($479.40 per year). For a 128 Kbps account the cost is just $89.95 per month at the monthly rate or $79.95 per month at the annual rate ($839.40 per year). All options require a one-time $50 account activation fee.
A Dialup UUCP account provides you with a cost-effective method to provide Internet email and news service to multiple users on your office network without the hassle or cost of a dedicated connection. Electronic mail and news destined for your domain is forwarded to your UUCP account. Your computer can then call in periodically to pick up this mail and news as well as send us any outgoing mail and news from your network.
We will provide MX forwarding services and a newsfeed for your UUCP account. Please note, however, that domain name service is not included with a UUCP account and must be purchased separately.
A UUCP account is also ideal for BBS operators; you can provide Internet news and mail service to your users for a fraction of the cost of a dedicated connection.
UUCP accounts include 80 hours per month of connect time, with additional time being billed against your account at $0.01 per minute. UUCP accounts do not include shell or PPP access, disk storage space (other than that used to spool your incoming mail and news) or a web page.
A UUCP account is just $25.00 per month if paid monthly, or $20.00 per month if payed annually. A one-time $100.00 account activation fee is applicable in both cases.
Domain registration allows you to have your own domain name for email and web page access. We take care of filing all the registration paperwork, running the name servers, and paying the annual InterNIC domain fee (currently $50 per year).
Domain registration is $100 per year (first two years must be paid in advance) plus a one-time $100 setup fee. The yearly fee includes both mich.com charges and InterNIC charges.
If you spend large amounts of time online, or would like to be connected to the Net at all times, you should consider a Dedicated Dialup Account. This option provides you with a 28.8k bps dial-in number exclusively for your use, with no time limits or per-minute charges other than normal phone company charges. All that's needed at your end is a phone line and and a modem.
A dedicated dialup account costs just $150 per month, plus a one-time $250 installation and activation charge. We can provide you up to 256 static IP addresses for your account, depending on your needs (additional addresses are available for an additional charge). Please note, however, that Domain Name Service is not included with this service and must be purchased separately.
A Dedicated ISDN Dialup Account provides the speed of a leased line connection without the high equipment costs and phone company charges. This option provides you with a 64 or 128 Kbps dial-in number exclusively for your use, with no time limits or per-minute charges other than normal phone company charges. For business customers, we can provide this service over voice-grade ISDN connections at a slightly reduced data rate (56 or 112 Kbps) to save on phone company charges.
A dedicated ISDN account costs just $250 per month for a 64 Kbps connection, or $400 per month for a 128 Kbps connection. A one-time $400 account installation and activation charge is also applicable. With your account we can provide you up to 256 static IP addresses, depending on your needs (additional addresses are available for an additional charge). Please note, however, that Domain Name Service is not included with this service and must be purchased separately.
A leased line connection gives your company a permanent connection to the Internet via high-speed leased lines at speeds from 56 Kbps to 1.544 Mbps.

These prices also do not include CSU/DSU and routing hardware for the customer site. A frame relay connection gives your company a permanent connection to the Internet at speeds from 128 Kbps to 1.544 Mbps. It's advantage over leased-line connections is that a single frame relay circuit to your office can handle traffic to several destinations simultaneously, whereas a leased line circuit is permanently connected to our offices only. This means a single incoming line can serve as both your Internet connection as well as a WAN connection to one or more remote offices.

The setup fee plus the first month's recurring charges must be paid in advance. A frame relay router is included in the setup charge; we will install and configure the router at your site at no additional charge. Future maintenance of the router is available for a low hourly service charge.
