GeoCities Introduces GeoWorld, 3-D Interactive Community
"GeoWorld not only enhances interaction among GeoCitizens and
visitors but also offers a compelling 3-D visual environment that further
enriches the experience of community life online" said GeoCities president
David Bohnett.
In the 3-D realm of GeoWorld, residents enjoy public chat, group
conversations and one-on-one discussions, in addition to being able to
exchange personal, private and public online business cards, which can link
to GeoCitizen home pages, Mr. Bohnett explained.
GeoWorld enables GeoCitizens to create avatars by which to
represent images of themselves to others, as they move within a
3-D town square that anchors a community center for online public events.
