Checking your membership

If you have not received your Welcome Letter and Password after signing up for a Home Page, click here.

The easiest way to find out if you're still registered at GeoCities is to check the GeoCities address that you signed up for by going to the Neighborhood Directory, choosing your neighborhood, finding your block, and seeing if your Member Name is still next to your address. If it is, then you're still registered. If not, then your profile has been deleted for one of several reasons, but likely because there was no activity in your account for a long period of time.

Profile with no Home Page

If you can access your Profile, but you no longer have a Home Page, this is probably because your Home Page has been auto-deleted due to inactivity. You may have tried to Delete your account to start over again, but found that you cannot without a Neighborhood address. In this case, all you need to do is to sign up for another Home Page. All your previous information should be accepted when you re-apply.

Note: Make sure that you start working on your Home Page within the first week so that it will not be auto-deleted due to inactivity.

Helpful Utilities

If you cannot access the Profile Editor with your Member Name and Password, first check to see if your Password is correct with the Password Look-Up Utility.

You can also use the Member Look-Up Utility to search for your own Member Name and Address.
