seventh most visited site on the World Wide Web according to the most
recent report by PC-Meter, a NPD Research Web site traffic measurement
service. The report, which is based on data compiled during the month of
December, solidifies GeoCities position as the first site other than a
search engine, an on-line subscription service or software company home
page, ranked PC-Meter's top ten list of most trafficked sites on the Web.

closed on a $9.0 million venture capital financing from SOFTBANK
