GeoCities Staff - Administration
When they're not answering the phone calls that deafen us with their brilliant ring, the administrative department crunches numbers, creates sales proposals, sets up commercial accounts, tends the GeoStore and keeps us all running smoothly.
LauraLaura is our head financial honcho and dresses much more like a grownup than the rest of us (probably because she has to meet with all those official lawyers and bankers). She brings her adorable six-year-old daughter Virginia to work when we need help in the copy room. When she's not working Laura runs, follows the stock market and does the mom thing.
Penny
Penny is without a doubt the quietest member of the GeoCities staff.
She handles our accounting and payroll, so we make sure we stay on
her good side.
GenevaGeneva, our office manager and the force behind the GeoStore, is also the proud mama of the official GeoCities dog, a lively and sometimes naughty boxer puppy named Sammy (remember Bewitched?). When she's not here she's often searching local antique stores for goodies to adorn her house, working in the garden or hiking with Sammy and boyfriend John.
Colleen
Colleen, who manages our commercial homesteading program,
lives right here in Santa Monica with her four-year-old daughter,
who, as it happens, is Colleen's spitting image. Colleen and her
fiance Victor truck their new boat out to the local lakes for
weekend waterskiing and skurfing expeditions and also like to
hike and race motorcycles.
