GeoCities Featured Page Program

Let us make you famous!

We want to let the world know about the best GeoCities homesteads in each of our neighborhoods. GeoCities featured pages appear on our main neighborhood pages, and some are also mentioned in our bimonthly newsletter or selected as Cool Page of the Day.

Featured homesteaders receive additional disk space and are eligible for the Enhanced GeoRewards program, through which you can earn extra points for drawing increased traffic to your site.

To qualify for this program, your page must fit the theme of your neighborhood and you must update it at least once a week. If you're not sure whether you're in the right neighborhood, please see the descriptions in our neighborhood directory. Changing neighborhoods is easy -- the move utility transfers your entire directory automatically and leaves a signpost pointing visitors to your new address for four weeks.

Your page must also meet all of our content guidelines. Please note the sections regarding sponsorship banners and GeoCities references.

To nominate your site, first read about how the features program works. When you're sure that your site meets all the requirements, send a message to a Community Leader in your neighborhood with Featured Page in the subject line. You'll find a list of your leaders by going to the main page of your neighborhood (for example, http://www.geocities.com/Athens/) and clicking on the "Community Leaders" link on the left. Your leaders will review your site and, if they agree that it deserves to be featured, they will submit your address to the GeoCities editors. When you write to your leaders, make sure you include your e-mail address and the address of your GeoCities site.

We get hundreds of nominations each week, so it may take us a while to get to your submission. We thank you in advance for your patience.
