Authoring your Web Page

Teaching yourself how to build a great Web Page is easier than you may think. All you have to do is find the information that you need. A great place to start is at our Internet tools - Resource Guide. There are plenty of great links that will give you hours of instruction and provide useful tips to get you started on your own.

The Home Page Resource Guide is also a good source for instruction, graphics, and lots more stuff to help you create a great page.

For HTML and other related questions, check out the HTML/Graphics Forum. Fellow homesteaders are knowledgable and eager to help those in need of advice. Before posting a question it is a good idea to read the questions and answers that are already posted. There might be a chance that someone already answered a question similar to yours.

Also there is excellent information at the GeoStore! There you will find a selection of some of the best and latest Web authoring books at discount prices.

For a list of the file types that you can upload to your GeoCities home page, check out the GeoCities Supported File Types Page.
