PROGRAM DETAILS
PURCHASE
You can only purchase server subscriptions when you buy a new server product or upgrade. When you purchase a subscription in conjunction with a new product, the subscription is priced at 40 percent of the product's cost; when you purchase a subscription in conjunction with a product upgrade, the subscription is priced at 80 percent of the new product's cost. Volume-purchase discounts also
apply to server subscriptions.
SUBSCRIPTION
TERM
Your subscription expires one year
from the date you register it. For example, if you register
your SuiteSpot subscription on December 1, 1996, you will receive all major
and minor SuiteSpot upgrades through December 1, 1997.
WHAT
YOU
GET
When you purchase and register your subscription,
we will ship product upgrades to you on a regular basis: SuiteSpot subscribers will receive these upgrades on
a quarterly basis; individual server product (for example, Netscape Catalog Server) subscribers will receive their upgrades as they become available.
RIGHT TO
DOWNLOAD
If you don't want to wait for us to send you product upgrades, you can always download
all major and minor upgrades for your subscribed product as soon as they become available.
In addition to our subscription terms, the use of any downloaded product
is governed by the Netscape Server and Tools End User License Agreement.
CLIENT
ACCESS
LICENSES
You must purchase client access license subscription for any client that needs to access the most recent version of the corresponding server software. For example, if you have a subscription to Netscape Mail Server and you have 1000 client access licenses, you will want to purchase 1000 client access subscriptions so that these users can always access the latest version of Mail Server.
REGISTER
Your subscription will be activated when you register.
You will receive physical product shipments once your subscription becomes
active.
