Select Settings from the Start menu.
Select Control Panels.
Double-click on Mail (or Mail and Fax).
Select Microsoft Messaging/ Microsoft Exchange Properties.
Select Properties from the Internet Mail menu.
Enter the following information in the General section:
Name: Enter your full name. Email address: user@mindspring.com or user@pipeline.com Internet Mail Server: pop.mindspring.com or pop.pipeline.com Account name: Enter your mailbox name. Do not type in your ms id number. Password: Enter your password.
Enter the following information in the General section:
Select Advanced.
Forward all outgoing mail to: mail.mindspring.com or mail.pipeline.com
Click OK
You are now ready to use Microsoft Messaging, or Microsoft Exchange.
