Greetings! Updating links still gives me a kick! Internet growth statistics are too abstract for me. I get my grasp on the numbers from submissions I receive in my email for AdZe's Cosmic Site of the Night Award. One submission service sent me over 200 site announcements this morning. So, 200 new sites that were serious about promoting themselves used just one promotion service yesterday. I cannot imagine the volume that the search engines are seeing on a given day.
I get another batch of email each day offering me services to boost my rating in the search engines. With the staggering and increasing number of websites online, how can an eager website owner get noticed? How do you meet someone in a crowd? The best way is usually through someone who knows someone....
And on the WWW, it is links! I am not a TV-watcher, but surfing entertains me. When I have some free time, it is fun to start following links. When you have time to play, start your surfing here.
