Giants pound Mets and end losing streak
The Mets entered Monday's game winners of 12 of their last 13. They left with feeling like losers of 20. After failing to get the big hit in the first three games of the series, the San Francisco Giants' bats exploded. Barry Bonds went 4-for-4 and scored twice, J.T. Snow drove in three runs as the Giants avoided a sweep with an 11-1 rout. The win ended the Giants longest losing streak in nearly three months. Despite the loss, the Mets have won 16 of their last 20 games. Team Pages: Giants | Mets
