World Forecast Summary, October 17: "Michael" To Visit
Bermuda? The Western Atlantic: Tropical Storm "Michael" is strengthening - and the center of the storm is now about 450 miles West-Southwest of Bermuda. The system has been nearly stationary - but a slow North-Northeastward motion is expected to begin by Thursday. "Michael's" current maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph - with higher gusts - and further strengthening is forecast through Thursday.

Again Wednesdays Weather in the West: Onshore movement of the next Pacific disturbance - will return showers to Washington and part of Oregon Tuesday night - and this precip will then push east - into Idaho by Wednesday morning - and into Montana by early afternoon.
World Forecast Summary, October 17: "Michael." Not That Kinda
Angel The Western Atlantic: Tropical Depression "Thirteen" has now strengthened into Tropical Storm "Michael" - and is nearly stationary off the Southeast U.S. coast - approximately 400 miles West-Southwest of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds are now around 40 mph - with gusts up to 50 mph. "Michael" is expected to be influenced by a fairly weak trough - coming from the mainland U.S. This trough will allow the storm to move toward the Northeast - in another 36 to 48 hours. At this time, it doesn't appear that Tropical Storm "Michael" will be any danger to Bermuda.
