E-Vision launches C-Span channel on its cable network

E-Vision which is part of Etisalat and the leading cable TV provider in the region announced the launch of the C-SPAN (Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network) channel on its network, which is an acclaimed niche channel offering nonstop news coverage and unedited coverage on the American political scenario.

C-Span offers a wide variety of live coverage of US House and Senate proceedings, Government hearings, proceedings of the Canadian and British Parliament (including live coverage of ‘Question Time’ from the Commons in the UK), live coverage of worldwide major events and Simulcasts for the major NASA events (Space missions, landings and launches).

The package will be available as an A La Carte option to all E-Vision subscribers for Dhs. 75 on a monthly basis. It will also include Orbit News 2, Fox News and CNBC US, giving unparalleled perspective and wide ranging opinion on policy and economics in the West.
