Demi Lovato called on some famous pals — Cher Lloyd! Travis Barker! Perez Hilton! — and made some new ones at L.A. Pride for the official “Really Don’t Care” video. Watch the grin-inducing clip for the song, which is currently at No. 1 on our Trending 140 chart, below:
“Really Don’t Care” may be a kiss-off to an ex, but the music video also lifts one finger in the air and points it toward the homophobic demonstrators at Los Angeles’ Pride celebration on June 8. “You don’t have to hate, because my Jesus loves all!” Lovato declares before the song kicks in and she joins the fun on a fabulous float. Surrounded by dancers doused in body paint, Lovato commands the crowd while later inviting guest star Lloyd to deliver her rap verse and Barker to bring the song home on the drums.
“Really Don’t Care” is the latest single from Lovato’s 2013 LP “Demi,” and moves up nine spots to No. 83 on this week’s Hot 100. “Heart Attack” and “Neon Lights” were previous singles from the album that entered the Top 40 of the chart.
