Ricardo Mayorga made his MMA Debut a successful one in his home country of Nicaragua.  His opponent Tiffer tried to keep the fight on the ground but the former boxing champion was able to hold his own and survive round one.  After more ground fighting in the second, Mayorga (controversially) knee'd Tiffer in the back - breaking Tiffer's submission attempt.  Then Mayorga threw bombs until the round ended.  Tiffer, who screamed after the knee, could not continue to the third - resulting in a TKO victory for Mayorga.

**Note:  Mayorga came into the weigh-in 20 pounds over but the fight was still allowed to take place**

Johnny "Johnny Boy" Nunez over the show off tactics of Joel Lam.  He was able to control the fight on his feet and on the ground.  Nunez rocked Lam several times and opening a cut on Lam in the 2nd round.  Nunez refused to tire and kept pressing the action on Lam until the final bell.  Your winner via Unanimous Decision Johnny "Johnny Boy" Nunez.

Erick Soza controlled the pace throughout the fight while dominating Rodriguez on the ground.  Soza landed several bombs on the ground before catching Rodriguez in the Rear Naked Choke.  Rodriguez was forced to tap awarding the victory to Erick Soza.

Leonardo Chimy Morales & Esdo De Paz put an absolute WAR on for the fans watching WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv.  De Paz started off early securing takedowns and keeping the fight on the ground but the tables turned when Morales put his superior stand up skills on display.  By the 3rd Morales was dominating on his feet until causing an injury that forced the Doctor to stop the fight in favor of Morales.

Alejandro Rodriguez overcame multiple submission attempts early to pound out a stoppage victory over Jurgen Gonzalez in the first round.  Towards the end of the 1st Rodriguez found himself on top of Gonzalez raining down punches until the ref stepped in and called a halt to the action.

In the opening bout of the evening Pablo Acuna took on Jose "Van Damme" Castro.  Right off that bat Castro showed the edge in power while Acuna had the edge on the ground.  The fight went back and forth the 1st two rounds, but suddenly in the 3rd Castro land a catastrophic left handing causing the ref to end the bout immediately.
