Addresses written in Latin script are usually written in French and are similar in format to French addresses. Their format is:
First Name[ ]LAST NAME
number[ ]thoroughfare type[ ]Thoroughfare name
postal code[ ]SETTLEMENT
For the postal regions of Ariana & Ben Arous, Bizerte, Gabès, Sfax, Sousse and Tunis, the post office name is written after the city name. In the above example, SOUSSE is the city name and CORNICHE the post office name.
Thoroughfare types are written starting with a lower-case letter. For lists of thoroughfare types and other address component information, please refer to the chapter on France.
