Look out, bad landlords!

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and civil rights attorney Norman Siegel plan to hold a series of three town hall meetings intended to identify — and prepare to sue — the lousiest landlords in Brooklyn.

“Help is on its way,” Adams said Monday. “Housing is more than four walls. It is a prerequisite for the American dream. But it has become a nightmare for so many families.”

The goal of the town halls is to determine the potential for lawsuits against some of the worst offenders.

“Come and participate and tell us what is happening so that we can systematically and effectively hold people accountable,” Siegel said.

But the civil rights lawyer stressed that the gatherings will be open to landlords as well as tenants, to give both sides an opportunity to both air their grievances and state their positions.

“We invite (landlords) to come and testify. We don’t want to stereotype anyone,” Siegel said.

Tenant advocates hailed the planned events, the first of which is scheduled for July 14 at Brooklyn Borough Hall.
