Australian actress Nicole Kidman was today named the most beautiful person in the world by a US magazine.
Royal "knockout" Zara Phillips and TV chef Nigella Lawson were among the list of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.
The British pair lined up beside a string of Hollywood stars in the list compiled by People magazine. Kidman topped the table, with the remaining 49 not listed in any order.
The US magazine said Phillips, 21, "continues to update the face of the stuffy Windsor family".
She was praised for her gold tongue stud and her decision to live openly with her boyfriend, jockey Richard Johnson.
The magazine described her as a "blonde, 5ft 5in knockout" who has inherited a "spellbinding complexion" from her mother, the Princess Royal.
Lawson, whose Channel 4 cookery show Nigella Bites is screened on cable in the US, was praised for winning the "allegiance of foodophiles" and for putting eating before "deprivation and skinniness".
Pop Princess Britney Spears and Oscar Winning actress Halle Berry were among the other female stars to make the list.
Actors Denzel Washington and Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen were among the best known men included.
