Saudi Newspapers Editors-in-Chief to SANA: Syrian-Saudi summit gave a strongAamomentum for developing bilateral relations.

Damascus, (SANA) -- A number of Saudi newspapers editors-in-chief accompanying the delegation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed in statements to SANA that the Syrian-Saudi summit between President Bashar al-Assad and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is an important step towards the joint Arab action and to enhance relations of the two countries. Al-Jazeera newspaper editor-in-chief Khaled al-Malik expressed belief that the outcome of summit would push bilateral relations forwards and boost historical ties. He added that everyone who watched the Saudi-Syrian summit know that the time of the visit was right because of circumstances and the increasing problems in the region. Al-Watan newspaper Editor-in-Chief Jamal Khashaqji said that Saudi Arabia and Syria are complementary to each other, pointing out to the necessity of increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries. Saudi Gazette newspaper Editor-in-Chief Mohammed bin Nasser al-Shokali stressed that the visit is important because it activates the Arab solidarity. He pointed out that the outcome of the summit would not be restricted to Syria and Saudi Arabia rather it would include the Arab countries in general, expressing hope that an economic and cultural integration would achieve the Arab solidarity. Al-Nadwa newspaper Editor-in-Chief Ahmad Bayoussef said the results of the Syrian-Saudi summit would undoubtedly be in the interest of the Arab world. He expressed hope that Syrian-Saudi coordination would lead to creating an Arab and regional space that serves the interests of the Arab nation and people in all Arab countries. Fadi Allafi .Mazen
