Tourism and Health Programme
The Ministries of Health and Tourism as agencies of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago are partnering with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), 3 Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). The program aims to safeguard the health and well-being of visitors and locals through a responsive and robust system.
TAUP And Other Incentives
In addition to the Tourism Development Act, the Ministry offers other attractive tourism tax incentives. The Tourism Accommodation Upgrade Project (TAUP)  is an incentive which provides a partial reimbursable grant for approved upgrade work done to accommodation facilities in both Trinidad and Tobago.
Welcome to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
We serve as a catalyst in the development and transformation of Trinidad and Tobago into a premier tourist destination, as well as in the development of the country's numerous cultural and artistic forms. Policy and strategic intervention are our key tools. Our other tools, while not as conspicuous are crucial, like conducting research, monitoring and evaluating trends, and partnering with industry stakeholders.
