Won't permit connecting to self cert server. I run MM on my home lab and it's FANTASTIC! Great way for the family to communicate. But the mobile app doesn't give the option to proceed through the warning received when connecting via self cert server. Homelab server is deployed as container via proxmox. Works just fine via browser and desktop app, but phone app won't permit login. Will update if I discover method to proceed. Love MM. Very handy!

Hi there, Self-Signed SSL Certificates are not supported unless the user installs the CA certificate on their device: https://docs.mattermost.com/deploy/mobile-app-changelog.html#release.

Major update about 1-2 years ago that included the UI revamp ruined this app; often so slow it's near unusable. Whatever was done for the UI revamp came at a severe cost to performance. Since I was asked for details on what's slow: Opening app. Switching channels. Opening menus. Typing. Clicking send button. Messages actually getting sent. Searching. Clicking any other UI buttons. Loading new messages. Reinstall and cache clear don't help. Re: keyboard - not using Samsung device, it's Google

Hi there, the remaining things to check is whether you are on the latest server version, and whether you see any errors either in the server's or in the mobile app's logs.

awesome stuff. especially appreciate the open source and community supported versions. update: oct'2023 App frequently refuses to recognize input needed from keyboard. Edit Save button sometimes doesn't show. At least daily, I have to kill app and reload. Draft option doesn't show, so I have to hunt for draft posts through all channels and threads.
