About Renewals

Online renewal is not available between 2:00 am and 6:00 am.
Renew most items up to three times without bringing them to the Library. Faculty who have checked out books from any of the Academic Affairs libraries have unlimited renewal privileges.
TRLN Direct books have a maximum loan period of 120 days. Faculty/Grad students: 90-day loan with one 30-day renewal. Undergrads/Staff: 30-day loan with three 30-day renewals.
To avoid overdue fines and blocked renewals, renew items on or before the due date.
Videocassettes, DVDs, Reserve items, and other selected items may not be renewed online.
Items recalled by another borrower may not be renewed.
The Library does not offer renewals by telephone.

Forgot your PID? If you're a current UNC student, faculty, staff member, or University affiliate, you can look it up.

Note! If you are not able to login with your Onyen and password, you may use the second login option below. Leave the Onyen and password fields blank, and login with your last name, PID, and PIN.
