Trump Organization opens 10-room B&B at Virginia mansion

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — A Virginia bed-and-breakfast owned by the Trump Organization has opened its doors to the public.

The Daily Progress reports (http://bit.ly/1cfMKBk ) that the 26,000-square-foot Trump Albemarle Estate in Charlottesville recently opened 10 rooms to booking.

The property is adjacent to the Trump Winery and features five rooms in the main house, four in the pool house and one cabin on the property.

Winery general manager Kerry Woolard says he hopes the lodging will help guests experience Virginia’s wine countryside.

Donald Trump acquired the property in 2012 for $6.5 million from Patricia Kluge, owner of what was then called the Albemarle House.

Trump Albemarle Estate’s website says rates start at $349 per night.
