For both history lovers and academics
I started reading this book for a research and, as a College student, I found it very easy to understand even for those who don´t know that much of history. Some (small) facts are outdated, as it is to be expected from a book published so long ago, but everything else is so well explained that this academic reading easily turns into entertainment. I also liked it that it breaks some myths about Anne Boleyn as a cruel and greedy lady who didn´t care about anything except what she wanted. Henry is depicted as a very complex person, which he truly was, and the author fully grasped his multi-dimensional personality. I will probably read it again when I can, with more time and more attention to the general aspects.
