Mormons Flight Westward
This complementary rendering of LDS history comes from the delicate telling of a tale of persecution and righteous indignation when the truth of the historic records show that Mormons earned a very poor reputation as con men, religious heretics, cattle and horse thieves, poly theistic polygamists, etc. The Mormons were driven out of Illinois following the death of Joseph Smith shot in a gunfight where he killed 3 men and wounded 2 with his 1830 patent Ethan Allen six-shot pistol. Smith was not "martyred" as they claim, he was in receipt of the justice of the day. A poor read unless you desire LDS propaganda.
