This year's SpringyCamp was a hit! From our lineup of amazing presenters to attendees' questions and discussions in the Lounge, we had a blast hearing from so many of you.
Conferences are all about sharing ideas, finding inspiration, and connecting with professionals in the field. SpringyCamp achieved all of those things with flying colors! Over the past two weeks, we've hosted 11 presentations on topics ranging from programming to web design. There were 400+ attendees on day 1, 300+ attendees on day 2, and an additional 600+ recording requests. Of course, none of it would have been possible without our presenters so kudos to them for their time, effort, and super cool use of our Springy Tools!!
If you missed a presentation, a day, or the whole thing, don't you worry! All presentation recordings, slides, and links are up and ready on the SpringyCamp site. So gather your coworkers and get comfy in your favorite library nook to watch some SpringyCamp.
Springy Highlights
The feedback has been rolling in, and the general consensus so far is that each and every presentation was thoughtfully organized and gave attendees new ideas for using their existing resources! A few stood out as being particularly timely and useful for Springy users.
- Kayla Harris and Jason Wardell's presentation on programming with LibWizard Tutorials explored the power of hybrid events. From student-generated memes to self-guided tours of local historical sites, they were able to engage with their students in new and meaningful ways.
- Meredith Kostek's presentation on embedding creative content in LibGuides had us all thinking outside the box! She shared approachable tips for adding visually appealing and highly interactive content to guides.
- Brian Holda and Emily Hayes' presentation on using Springy Tools for their Day of Research showed how our tools created the infrastructure that made their large-scale event easier to organize, facilitate, and document.

All the Extras!
Everyone knows that more interactive = more fun, so we came up with a few engagement activities for this year's SpringyCamp!
- First, we sent out Camper Kits to a few lucky libraries. Kits included everything needed to enjoy a day of fun at Camp including a faux fire, stickers, and of course some snacks!
- SpringyCamp themed bingo! Attendees who submitted a photo of their bingo on social media (like this one!) or email were entered to win a pair of the ever-popular SpringyCamp socks.
- We encourage you to hit the stacks (and beyond!) with a Library Scavenger Hunt for another chance to win those precious SpringySocks.
