The lab of Dr. Graner and Dr. Yu is seeking a dynamic, independent, and creative neuroscience postdoctoral researcher to join the team in the Department of Neurosurgery at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Trainings in neurobiology and neuroimmunology are preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
This new postdoctoral position has been created for carrying out an NIH funded project to investigate the interaction of phage peptides and extracellular vesicles derived from patients with CNS disorders.

Examples of Work Performed:

  • Carrying out independent projects
  • Communication weekly with PIs
  • Ordering and maintaining lab supplies
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $53,760-$63,500.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in life science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

    Individuals with a strong background in neuroscience are especially welcome.
  • PhD and post-doctoral experience in neurobiology, neurosciences, cell biology, and molecular biology
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, responsible individual with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to write results for publication in the scientific literature
  • Experience in neurodegenerative disease research, cell signaling, neuronal or glial cell cultures, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, ELISA, and Western blots
  • Extracellular vesicle purification and characterization
