RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will teach certificate level construction technology courses that include electrical, plumbing, blueprint reading, tools/materials, rough framing, job safety, and basic roof framing. Class responsibilities include but are not limited to lecture and lab instruction, monitoring student progress, supervise student projects, curriculum development, attendance, and other specific duties that support student learning and college mission and vision. Instructor will be teaching 15 to 20 inmate/students, at the Arizona State Prison - Winslow Complex. Position is supported and funded through Arizona Department of Corrections, with a consistent and long history of contract renewal.  Position is full time - 12 months per year. 

QUALIFICATIONS:   The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job include, but are not limited to the following:

• Minimum Qualifications:  Five years of full-time directly related occupational experience and possession of or willingness to obtain certification and/or license, or other credentials required by industry specific trade and/or state of employment.

• Special Position Condition: Applicant must be able to pass and maintain Arizona Department of Corrections security clearance. 

SALARY:   Entry salary is $58,734.00.  Placement above the minimum may be considered up to $69,438 dependent upon education and experience.
